Modesty is hottesty!
Here is the dress. I bought it from Target a couple years ago, but because of the elastic waist and my height, it just wasn't very modest anymore. But I didn't want to give it away!!
So began the process :)
And here is the final product! It looks different than the original dress, but I totally love it. I think it works. And it was really easy. It is really easy to make something immodest modest! It can be just a matter of adding a jacket, shirt, or some fabric on the bottom. And I feel way more comfortable wearing this dress now than I did before. Overall it was definitely a great thing to do :)
"Modesty is not a matter of being “hip.” It is a matter of the heart and being holy. It is not about being fashionable. It is about being faithful. It is not about being cool. It is about being chaste and keeping covenants. It is not about being popular, but about being pure. Modesty has everything to do with keeping our footing securely on the path of chastity and virtue. I SLACK-LINED!!!! Seriously my favorite picture. Love Peter. For the record I didn't take a single step by myself. It is crazy hard.
Haha. Alli and I shaved Luke's face. Thought it was worth a try :)
We like to pretend that we model like this Native American. We also love culture.

Holland is a Hero

I had a friend who carried this quote with him all the time. It really has spoken to me a lot this year. Being a teenager, there is a lot I could give up on. But every time I keep walking, keep trying, keep keeping on, I find the Lord is reaching out His hand. Help comes, happiness comes, even in tiny bits, and I learn to trust in Him. I have had to put my life in His hands this year. I have had to keep walking on an ounce of faith. But I KNOW that He is always there, especially in the darkest times. I believe in Him and know of His existence. I'm grateful I don't have to be alone.
Hey Girl
So I love boys. But I didn't just take pictures of them for fun, it was for their officer campaigns.
I promise. :)
