Almost as exciting as the idea of five days off of school for Thanksgiving, is the idea of being cooped up inside, sitting by the fire with hot cocoa, watching the blizzard never settle down. This is what I have been waiting for.
There is a streetlamp across the street perfectly visible from every window in the front of the house. It is kinda an old fashioned lamp, tall, and very pretty glowing yellow in the snow. Its kinda like my weatherman. It lights up the street perfectly just so I can see what the weather is like, or how hard it is snowing. I love this street lamp. I didn't realize until now how attached I am to it.
Its special.
At school, there were so many rumors buzzing around about the biggest blizzard warning ever in Utah, how all after-school activities are canceled, and how you have to be in your house by 6:00 to remain safe. I hoped they were all true. I LOVE being in my warm house watching a snowstorm. It is not too stormy right now, but the rapidly falling snow is lovely. This snowstorm has literally made my day. It has made me joyous!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
