TRACK
I was way nervous to time for the 100 meter sprints. I went to the back of the line so no one would see me biff it. We bolted off the starters, and my start wasn't very fast, so I picked it up a lot in the middle. I get in this trance where I refuse to let anyone pass me. I always seem to find a little extra in myself that will push to get past someone. Who knew I had a competative streak?!
EVENTS
My time was 13.4! Which I found it is pretty good! Of the girls that tried out that day, I was first! They put a girl in front of me on the last because they are past runners and super fast, which is great cause I love her! Plus that put me on the 4 by 1 Team and the Medley Team! I really need to learn how to pass a baton, though. Oh, and I am learning to use my long legs to do the long jump!
CANCELLED
I was WAY excited and pretty nervouse for our very first meet today. I packed lots of snacks, a blanket, umbrella, and my ipod for entertainment. I was prepared. But it got cancelled due to potential storms that never really happened.... but that just means more practice!

In any case, I am way excited. But my fav track buddy might not be able to do it.... I will miss her much..... *tear*.

+Our YW made the Terra Cotta Soldiers out of cake pop bunnies. Sweet, huh?
+I LOVE LOVE LOVE having my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew live in my house. Kirst helped me study for like... an hour! How amazing is she?
+I love looking out windows.
+I promise that I will go to Zumba with Erin. I promise.
+I talked to an old best friend for the first time in a while today. It was a fun time. I liked it.
+I think I am a bit paranoid. There is this girl that I walk by a few times, and she seems to look at me and laugh every time I pass her. I think I am just being weird.
+We had a big discussion about Hiroshima and how our country still makes even more powerful atomic weapons, with the same intentions they had when they preserved Hiroshima and Nagasaki for those bombs. And I am proud of myself, because hey, I am gaining my own opinions!
+I like driving....
