pat his cheeks and give him what? A great big kiss!

Happy Father's Day!
I have been blessed to have the most amazing father(s). First, my dad is the most amazing person I know. Everytime I do something wrong or one of my siblings does something wrong, I am amazed by how he teaches us. He has never raised his voice, but we have such a deep respect and love for him that he doesn't need to raise his voice to chastise us. It is enough that he is disappointed and we learned our lesson. He has instilled in my family a love for God's creations. Every single one of my siblings has a great love for the outdoors, which is awesome. My dad took us on family camping trips, fishing trips, canoeing adventures, hunting, and even the glorious yardwork. He is knowledgable in all things nature and can answer almost every question I have.

He is also the most spiritual person I know. That is another thing he has installed in me, a love for the gospel. He cries often when he feels the Spirit. He has a firm testimony in Jesus Christ. He shows it in all that he does. He truly is always striving to live the gospel. My dad loves my mother with all of his heart and is so grateful for her. I love that my dad is so service-oriented. A day doesn't go by that is he is not out fixing the neighbor's sprinklers, fulfilling his calling, helping with his son's new house, babysitting grandchildren, and the list goes on. He has always been a wonderful example to me. I love how he hugs and kisses me everyday without fail when he gets home from work. He is understanding, listens, has a beautiful voice, is compassionate, slow to judge, spiritual, and loves to be with his family. I'm so lucky to have a dad like him.

My other wonderful father is my Father in Heaven. Growing up being a Mormon, I learned and came to know that He was always there and loved me. I can't even imagine the agenda that He must have. Watching over and caring for His many children all over, but He has the time to let me know that I matter. I am so grateful for how close I have become with Him over the past year. I have had amazing experiences and truly felt His love. He has blessed my life immensely and I love Him so much. The amazing thing is that He is there for everyone, whether or not you are a member of the church or not. He will always hear your prayers. I have friends who don't have a father present here on this earth, but they will always have their Father in Heaven. I am so blessed in my life to have both.
