9th Grade Award of Excellence

This is evidence that I attended and received an award. I got the Gold Presidential Award. (Means I had a 3.5 GPA or above all 3 years of junior high, and scored in the 85th percentile on the IOWA tests.) I also got the Social Studies Department Award. Which was the biggest surprise of my life. My teacher doesn't particularly like me, and picks on me for not always participating in discussions. But yet, he gave it to me. Kinda funny.

I have honestly never liked Social Studies. Until this last semester. I got the hard teacher. The one that makes you think, have opinions, and actually study for tests. Getting A's wasn't easy at all. But I actually learned a lot in that class. And I'm starting to like it more.....

I also want to say congrats to my friends who got awards! My friends were super great. They got smarty-pants awards and came to support each other. I think they are so great. Nena got the actual 9th Grade Award of Excellence! She is so awesome! I'm so proud :)
