Today in gym, as we played dodgeball, we lost yet another round. In our devestation, Scott proclaimed that our only strategy left was to kneel and pray. Everyone laughed and agreed, but it sparked something in Mason's brain. He gathered us around in a huddle, and with his game face on, he convinced our team we were now the Anti-Nephi-Lehi's from the Book of Mormon. We would lay down our weapons and kneel together... not even fight back. And so we did! I'm sure it was a special memory for everyone. The other team pelted us as hard as they could and surrounded us. I sank into the fetal position and with my last dying breath... got up and chucked a ball at the nearest person.
I know our gym version differs from the real version, but it was a great experience all around.
Next, is something that I'm sure we all can enjoy and take a part in. My sister thinks that since I will be 16 in a few months, I need to start practicing "awkward things to do on dates." When we sit at dinner together we try them out. We've started compling a list.
1. Smell your food (she knows someone who does this all the time), then continue to eat it like a ravenous wolf
2. Act like Luna Lovegood. Never fails.
3. Ask your date if you have boogers in your nose.
4. Flare your nostrils when you look at them.
5. When you talk to them, only look to the left of their head.
I know its kinda short, but it'll get better. I'm sure you can imagine how Kait and I act at dinner.
Totes awky-awk.
