I started indexing this week.
If you don't know, indexing is downloading pictures of records and typing the names and information you see into the computer so it is saved and the names are able to be searched so that people can do their family history! It is actually super fun and way exciting to be a part of something big like this.
Right now the big project is the 1940 U.S. Census, which as of right now, is 50% indexed! Way to go all you people in the world who are helping with this! Isn't that way awsome??
This is exciting, it really is. Get on this band wagon, friends.
