Prom Dress

I made this prom dress. It took a while, and I still have small finishing touches.... but it is done! I got all the fabric from my adopted grandmother who passed away this summer. So this dress is in memory of her, she always was encouraging me to keep up my art, and this sure is art! I have a fantastic sewing teacher who helped me with it, and now I just love wearing it.

DI Dress Do-over:

I should have remembered to take a before picture, but it's too late now. Just picture it longer, bigger, with shoulder pads and long big sleeves. Not too flattering. So I fixed it up! And I'm in love with it! I love vintage.

truth we know

I was inspired by Hue and Hum to make some shirts. Hue is so talented and amazing... and her husband is in a band. Like a real band. So cool.

Sorry the picture is terrible quality, but you can see it is an umbrella made of different fabrics, with a fancy shmancy handle. I love this shirt, and it attracts compliments sometimes. It was so much fun to make. I'll put up a picture soon of the other shirt I made.

They are pretty easy to make, and it only takes a few hours!

I love this sunhat. When it was finished, I wore it until I was forced to take it off.

I love being able to make stuff for myself.

And if anyone wants one, just let me know! (maybe at a $6.50 price?)
